Opening Doors to Knowledge: Aitken Spence Printing’s Gift of Books to Benefit 200 Early Childhood Students

Aitken Spence Printing has demonstrated a commendable commitment to education and community welfare as a means of promoting Sustainable Development with a special focus on developing our immediate neighbourhood community. In par with this, a donation of books for 200 preschool children was made in response to a request made by the “Biyagama Pradeshiya Sabha- Delgoda”, who are dedicated to managing three early childhood development centres in council areas, particularly catering to children hailing from low-income families.

Aitken Spence Printing’s thoughtful contribution aims to empower these young minds with the gift of knowledge, emphasizing the company’s dedication to social responsibility and the belief that access to educational resources should be inclusive, irrespective of economic background.

The collaboration between Aitken Spence Printing and the “Biyagama Pradeshiya Sabha – Delgoda” highlights the positive impact that businesses can have on local communities. Through this act of book donation, Aitken Spence Printing not only equips children with essential learning materials but also plays a pivotal role in fostering a culture of education and empowerment that helps them make informed decisions about their economic, social, and environmental well-being. Such initiatives underscore the transformative influence of corporate goodwill in creating a more equitable and promising future for children in need.
