“Accelerate Action” Celebrating International Women’s Day 2025 at Aitken Spence Printing
Aitken Spence Printing proudly joined the global community in celebrating International Women’s Day 2025 under the inspiring theme, “Accelerate Action.” This occasion served as a meaningful reminder of our unwavering commitment to gender equality, inclusivity, and the empowerment of women within our organization. As part of the celebrations, Aitken Spence Printing honored the invaluable contributions of its female employees by distributing special tokens of appreciation, symbolizing our gratitude for their dedication and perseverance. Recognizing and valuing their efforts reinforces our belief in fostering a workplace culture where every individual, regardless of gender, feels supported and empowered.
In line with this year’s theme, we also took the opportunity to raise awareness on key aspects of women’s well-being by organizing an insightful session for our female employees. The session was conducted by Dr. Mrs. Nilanthi Wickramaarachchi, a Medical Officer from Kiribathgoda Hospital, who covered crucial topics such as women’s physical health and hygiene, work-life balance, budgeting nutritional needs for families, and debunking myths about medical administration for communicable diseases. This initiative aimed to equip our female employees with essential knowledge to enhance both their personal and professional lives, reinforcing our commitment to their holistic well-being.
